CARS VERSUS PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN CITIES. A NEW POLICY.
A 3 page synopsis explaining the scheme.

RADBURN. New, safe, green paths for pedestrians and cycles
separate from cars, which can reach every house and school.

FUNCTIONAL JUNCTIONS, CAR HEIGHT BRIDGES, Cost 1% of
Ministry of Transport flyovers. Stop/traffic lights not needed.

ROADIONICS. COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY FOR STEERING CARS -
Road pricing. Communications between cars, the police and hitch-hikers.

PARKING. The shortage is political, we do not need prohibitions. Private
enterprise needs permission to provide multi storey parks, not tarmac deserts.

HEIGHT makes bridges expensive. Why high vehicles need not
call at every door and their new chassisless design.

RAILWAYS & PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Rails are for steering but
reduce braking. Trains and buses have heavy chassis and are too tall.

NEW CITIES FOR CARS. The site for a new capital city.
How profitable and civilised it would be.

FINANCING AND EMPLOYMENT. It would not cost money,
it would make money, and halve unemployment.

POLLUTION & GLOBAL WARMING. Local pollution easily cured.
Global warming requires fuel shortage or World Government.

RESOURCES & CONSERVATION OF ENERGY.
Fission, fusion, hydrogen, solar. Petrol will run out.
